Welcome to the site of Montana's first member-operated grocery.

The Missoula Community Food Co-op evolved from a buying club into a strategy for consumer-controlled, affordable local food choices.

We are committed to providing affordable and healthful foods and supporting Montana producers. One of three food co-ops of its kind in the nation, our all-working-member model eliminates overhead costs, affording all of our members the lower prices they are working for.

Our small storefront is stocked from floor to ceiling with high quality foods-from dairy and meat to canned items, bulk goods and produce. In order to meet the demand from our members, our inventory is constantly expanding as our capacity increases.

As member/owners of the co-op, members participate in daily operations, choose the products we carry, give input on policy development, and generally run the store!
